22/12/11 - 2kg of plums were stewed and 1 1/2 kg of plums turned into plum wine.
8/1/12 - picked a heap of basil from the garden (to stop it going to seed) and made basil pesto. Mixed it into pasta for a lovely dinner.
My Kitchen
It isn't a very clear photo, but this is my kitchen. There's a lot happening in this photo, and I'm not just talking about me washing the dishes. There's dinner in the slow cooker, scones in the oven, bread rolls cooling on top of the oven, scraps from dinner preparations boiling in the saucepan to make my homemade garden pest repellant, alfalfa growing in a container on the bench and next to that is my new batch of citrus cleaner on the go and some yoghurt being made in the Easy Yo yoghurt maker.
20/12/11 - having picked 6kg of plums off our plum tree (and more was picked afterwards), I turned 4kg into plum jam and 2kg into stewed fruit.
